Friends & Family PaperWorksCo Blog Hop!

Welcome back!!  I hope you're able to join me in the fabulous Friends & Family PaperWorksCo blog hop today!
Well, I'm a huge tennis fan and with the French Open on right now I decided to use this super cute Zoe the Tennis Player stamp from the PWCO own line of stamps.  I followed this weeks PWCO Sunday Sketch #34 which was the perfect fit for this image.  Paper is BG Euphoria and Zoe is coloured with copic markers.  Ribbon is from stash and the sentiment is computer generated.  All other supplies are available in the PWCO store here.
Here's the order of the blog hop - you should have come by way of  Steph S, but you will want to start at the beginning here so you don't miss out on any of the beautiful creations!

Peggy is also offering up some amazing prizes for those who leave comments randomly on the blog hop!  I sure hope you can join in the fun!  Why don't you pop on over to PWCO  and take a peek at the gorgeous line of stamps Peggy has in her store!

Thanks for coming by again today - I really appreciate having you here!  And don't forget to leave a comment - you could WIN!!!  My Winter Wonderland DT card is in an earlier post today in case you didn't get to see it!

Winter Wonderland - Christmas Candies!

Hi there!
I have my Winter Wonderland DT card to show you today!  This week we have the theme of 'Christmas Candies' - you can either choose to use an image using Christmas candies or be inspired by the colours of them instead.  The DT have fabulous inspiration so be sure to pop on over and we'd love to see you join in with us this week.  There is also a wonderful prize of 2 Digi stamps from 'I Dit It Creations'!
For my card I've used the ever so cute Henry Mouse stamps again - this image just makes me smile every time I see it!!  Obviously, I chose candy canes and was lucky enough to find this fabulous dp in my stash of christmas papers!  Henry and his sweetie are coloured with copic markers.  The sketch is this weeks challenge over at Truly Scrumptious so I will enter my card in there.  Also, Quixotic Challenges has 'Emboss It' as their challenge this week so I will submit it there too!!
So glad you could come by again today - I will be back with a second posting soon for my PaperWorksCo blog hop!  I certainly hope you can visit again and thank you for all your beautiful comments.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're able to come by again tomorrow for my PWCO blog hop card and my Winter Wonderland DT card.  I do, at least, have those ready to go!!

Winter Wonderland - Sketch #11

Happy Friday everyone!

I'm back today with a card for the Winter Wonderland challenge this week which is Marianne's fabulous sketch!  And I get to play with some Henry Mouse images courtesy of my teamie, Kate!!  OMW, he is just too cute for words!  We are sponsored this week by the fabulous and generous Heidi at Simon Says Stamp where you could be up to win a $15 gift certificate to spend in the store!!  We hope to see your creations this week!

I coloured with my copics and added some sparkle on the ornament snowflake although it's not easily seen on the photo.  Paper is from stash and I used the MS Icicle punch for the punched border and also her snowflake punch.  Ribbon is from stash and the bow was made using the bow-easy.  I am also entering this card into the Bah-Humbug! challenge this week which is 'Ribbons'.

Thanks for stopping by - I hope you don't find it too difficult looking at a winter card when the weather is so gorgeous outside!!  I have to say though my christmas card stash is coming along very nicely!

We're have glorious weather set for the long weekend - 30oc+ and my father-in-law arrives with his wife from Bangkok for a short visit on Sunday!  We're all looking forward to that - can't say how much crafting I'll get done but hey ho, will do what I can!

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for your beautiful comments!

Princess Tilda

Hi!
I finally have a card posting for you all today.  I have made some decisions lately and now that my knee is finally allowing me to exercise again, coupled with the fine weather that has arrived, I am putting myself a priority to lose the 20lbs or so I have gained over the last year due to my inactivity.  I have been out bike riding and walking and loving it - and feeling so much more positive in myself for it too.  With that being said, I will be limiting my postings per week and will post only when I can and not feel I have to post every day.
So here is the beautiful Princess Tilda, coloured in copic glory!  I love the pretty colour combo on this card - the gorgeous pink paper is Papermania Capsule Collection (candy I won from Mandy).  Ribbon, charm and flowers are all from stash and I used the MS branch punch.  The little pearls in the corner just add a final finishing touch to the bottom corner.
I am entering this card into A Spoonfull of Sugar challenge this week 'Cute & Girly' and Cupcake Craft Challenges 'Blooming Charming!'.  Just Magnolia is also 'One for the Girls' so this card is perfect for that!
Thanks to you all for stopping by and paying me a visit.  I hope to find a little time later to blog hop and catch up on some commenting.  Please leave a comment if you have the time - I love reading them and they really do make my day!
Take care and enjoy your day whatever you're doing and wherever you are!

Winter Wonderland - See Amid the Winter's Snow!

Happy Friday!!
I have another Winter Wonderland post for you all today.  Lynsey is this weeks host and the challenge is 'See Amid the Winter's Snow' - so any snow themed winter cards!!  We have a fab prize up for grabs from Delicious Doodles too!
I decided to make a little winter scene and used this gorgeous Tilda image throwing snowballs.  I tore 3 pieces of white cardstock and added glue & glamour dust for sparkle.  The snowman is Sunshine Designs by The Stamp Barn and Tilda and snowballs are Magnolia.  Images are coloured with copics.  Snowflakes are an MS punch and the sentiment is from my stash.
This was a quick & easy card to make.  I hope you're able to stop by Winter Wonderland and check out the gorgeous inspiration from the rest of the DT.  We also hope you're able to join in with the fun challenge this week and keep adding to your Christmas card pile!!
Thanks for stopping by for a visit and for any comments you may leave.  Don't forget my candy - you only have another day left to enter!  And with over 100 entries and now over 300 followers I will be adding some extra surprises to the package!!

A 'Magic' Card!

Hi there!
I tried a new card this weekend - a 'Magic' card.  It is super fun to do and I think the end result is quite stunning - definitely worth a try!  And if you want to try it and you're in the Ottawa area, then sign up at Heather's as this is my next card class which is coming up June 19th!
Stamp images are Heather's own line of stamps, Enchanted Hollow.  The coloured image is done with copics.  And yes, I'll be teaching copics at Heather's as she will now be carrying them - yay!!

Thanks for your visit today my friends and for any comments you may leave.  I've had another busy day today so hope I can catch up on some blog hopping and commenting tomorrow!  Don't forget, this is the last week of my blog candy - and now that we're over 100 I will definitely be adding a couple of extra surprises to the bundle!
Take care & hugs to you all,

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!
I wanted to share with you the beautiful card my 11 yr old son, Josh, made for me!  He snuck into my craft room and chose this sweet fairy from CC Designs (it was already stamped out)!!  He used my copics to colour - wasn't he lucky - and I think he did a fabulous job with them!!!  I have to say I rather love my blue-haired fairy - so unusual,  although I personally think he has been heavily influenced by the movie AVATAR!!
I got showered with beautiful handmade cards and gifts from my boys this morning and then we all helped and made pancakes together for breakfast!  It's been a wonderful day so far - so much better than the weather, that's for sure!  Can you believe we actually had a sprinkling of snow overnight, brrrr!  I sure hope this crazy weather brightens up and Mr Sunshine comes back to us soo!
Well, I wish you all a wonderful Mother's Day for those who are celebrating and if not, hope your weekend has been an enjoyable one!

Winter Wonderland - Cute Creatures!

Happy Friday everyone!
I am pleased to say my 'head' is back to normal today - thank you for all your kind wishes yesterday!
It's another challenge day over at Winter Wonderland and our lovely Janet is this weeks host with a challenge to use 'cute creatures' on your Christmas card.  I'm also entering this card over at A Spoonfull of Sugar where this weeks challenge is 'furry friends' - perfect!!
Well, when I think cute creatures, Penny Black is the perfect choice every time!!   Their mice & hedgy images always have the huge 'awww' factor in my book, LOL!  So, with that I pulled out my cute carolling mice and inked them up!  I coloured with Distress Inks (Rusty Hinge, Tea Dye, Barn Red, Forest Moss, Victorian Velvet, Scattered Straw & Wild Honey and Pumice Stone for the shadows and edge distressing).  I punched out flowers using my retro flower punch (med & small) with the Magnolia music paper.  The sentiment is The Stamp Barn and I used some adhesive pearls for some finishing detail.  Penny Black challenge this week is 'Let's Get Punchy' - I've punched out the flowers!!  Also, the Allsorts Challenge is 'Animals'.
I hope you're able to pop over to Winter Wonderland and join in with this weeks challenge where the prize is from Regina at The Cutting Cafe.  There is also some fabulous inspiration from our DT girls too,
Thanks for stopping by today and I really hope I'm able to do some catch up and visit everyones blogs!  I appreciate you visiting and leaving a comment - they are always so very much appreciated!

My first Sweet Pea card

A quick posting again today as I'm typing this with quite a severe headache that I've had now for 6hrs and can't shake off - I think I need to go and lie down!
Anyways, this is the beautiful Sweet Pea stamp that I won from the very sweet Debbie over at Passion for Crafts.  Thanks Debbie, she is so gorgeous!  I coloured with my copics and followed the sketch over at Sweet Pea Stampers challenge blog this week.  Paper is BG Wisteria and the sentiment is CC Designs.  Lace is from stash.
That's all for now folks - I may get a chance to blog hop later if my head decides to co-operate!  Hope you all enjoy a wonderful day!

Make a wish .....

Good morning my friends!
A quick post as I need to head out to school and do milk duty!!  I coloured up this gorgeous new Tilda yesterday using some of the new copic colouring techniques I've learned.  What do you think?  I'm quite pleased with the result although I do know I need to practice more!
I've used this weeks sketch by Bev over at Just Magnolia.  Paper is from DCWV and charm, bling & ribbon are from stash.  I'm also going to enter this into Quixotic Challenges where the theme is 'How Distressing'.
That is all for now folks.  Will try and blog hop and catch up a bit later with you all!  Thanks for popping by for a visit and leaving any comments - they are always very much appreciated!
Enjoy your day!

Lookie at what I have .....

Yes, it's my Copic Certificate!!  I had an absolute blast on Sunday doing my Copic Certification class with Sally-Lynn McDonald.  I learnt so much about the pens, blending techniques and texturizing.  I don't have a card to share with you today but I certainly got a little time to play around with the techniques that I learnt yesterday.  I may get time tomorrow to put something together - fingers crossed!

Here's a picture of the Copic goody case we all received.  Wow - the excitement opening this up was pure heaven, LOL!!
Well, I hope you're able to savor a little of what I enjoyed on Sunday!  If you ever get the chance to sign up for a Copic Certification class, I highly recommend that you take it!  I'm finally figuring out how all these amazing copic coloured images are done, LOL!!
Hope to be back tomorrow with a card to show you all!
Hugs,

New C.C. Designs Spring Kit

Hello!
My new C.C. Designs Spring kit arrived in the mail this week and I finally got a chance to sit down, colour and put a card together!  Isn't she such a sweetie!
I coloured using my copics and I've used my new BG Kioshi papers - they are lovely!  I've followed Claudia's sketch this week over at Friday Sketchers.   I will also add this into Charisma Cardz challenge which is 'Girly & Flowers.  Not really sure I'm entirely happy with the end result but the way my mojo has been lately, I'll take it, lol!!!
My boys started softball practice this weekend so we've had a day full of batting, pitching & catching!  It's been a lot of fun to see them jump back into it and even my youngest, Jacob (4) has been walking around the house all day with his new T-Ball glove on and ball in hand - too cute!!  My schedule is now becoming a little crazy over the coming weeks trying to get all 3 to practices & games so goodness knows when I'll find the time to craft - I might just have to become a midnight stamper ..... ;)
Well, I hope you're all enjoying your weekend and thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.  And don't forget my candy - when I'm over 50 I might just add in some more surprises!!
Hugs,
Danielle x
