Happy Friday everyone!
I am pleased to say my 'head' is back to normal today - thank you for all your kind wishes yesterday!
It's another challenge day over at Winter Wonderland and our lovely Janet is this weeks host with a challenge to use 'cute creatures' on your Christmas card. I'm also entering this card over at A Spoonfull of Sugar where this weeks challenge is 'furry friends' - perfect!!
Well, when I think cute creatures, Penny Black is the perfect choice every time!! Their mice & hedgy images always have the huge 'awww' factor in my book, LOL! So, with that I pulled out my cute carolling mice and inked them up! I coloured with Distress Inks (Rusty Hinge, Tea Dye, Barn Red, Forest Moss, Victorian Velvet, Scattered Straw & Wild Honey and Pumice Stone for the shadows and edge distressing). I punched out flowers using my retro flower punch (med & small) with the Magnolia music paper. The sentiment is The Stamp Barn and I used some adhesive pearls for some finishing detail. Penny Black challenge this week is 'Let's Get Punchy' - I've punched out the flowers!! Also, the Allsorts Challenge is 'Animals'.
I hope you're able to pop over to Winter Wonderland and join in with this weeks challenge where the prize is from Regina at The Cutting Cafe. There is also some fabulous inspiration from our DT girls too,
Thanks for stopping by today and I really hope I'm able to do some catch up and visit everyones blogs! I appreciate you visiting and leaving a comment - they are always so very much appreciated!
Hugs,
Danielle x
