Tilda with 3 flowers

Hello!
Geez, the last couple of days have been busy with lots of running around and of course enjoying the beautiful sunshine we've been having.  Today it has turned a little gloomy and we have the proverbial April Showers!!

I coloured up this beautiful Tilda with my copics today and put together this card.   I used the sketch from Stamp with Fun.  Also, Papertake Weekly challenge has the theme of 'Cutie Pie' - well, I definitely think this Tilda is cute!  Paper is from BG Marrakech pad and I used the MS Trellis border punch.  The sentiment is from The Stamp Barn.  I added stickles to the flowers for some added sparkle and glam to the card!  The bow is tied with the bow-easy tool.

Thanks for stopping by - hopefully I'll get a chance to craft a little more with rain forecast for the next 4 days!  Hubby is away in California too so maybe extra crafty time is on the agenda!  I appreciate your visit and for any comments you may leave!  I always loving reading them!

A Spring Card for 3 challenges!

Hello friends!
Hope you're all well! My mojo is well and truly still in hibernation - I haven't been in my craft room for the last 4 days! My energy still feels low but I was determined to create something today and that I have!
I scoured some challenges and found I can enter this card into Magnolia Down Under 'Buttons, Flowers & Bows'. Although the main image is C.C. Designs the sweet little tweety bird and cherry paper is Magnolia! I followed a sketch from Stamp with Fun this week - I loved it - definitely a fun one to do! And lastly, over on A Spoonful of Sugar the theme is 'Springtime' - this is an unusual colour combo for me but I have to say I love it! I can also enter this into 'Totally Papercrafts' challenge this week which is 'Buttons & Bows'.
The image is from my dear friend Christine - thanks hun - she was definitely a sweetie to colour! I coloured with my copics. I cut the swing out and used twine to put it together on the card. I used the MS picket fence punch to create a sweet garden scene.
Thanks for popping by for a visit - I really love that you can come by! I haven't been hopping too much these past few days - hopefully I'll get to it a bit later so I can catch up on my commenting. Thanks for your comments - I so enjoy reading them!

Winter Birthday Wishes

Hi there!
Great to see you here and I hope you like what I've posted up today. I have managed to include a few challenges on this one card - MDUC for 'Stamp with Another Use', Sketch Saturday for the sketch layout and Stamp with Fun which is to use snowflakes. Woohoo - 3 challenges with 1 card - way to go!
So I inked up this gorgeous Tilda from the new So Jolly Christmas Collection. I thought it make a perfect winter birthday card - I'm sending it off to my goddaughter who turns 13 (tomorrow actually, so I guess it'll be late, oops). I coloured with my copics and pretty much followed the colour scheme of the paper I chose to work with. The snowflakes are MS punch and the sentiment is from The Stamp Barn.
I hope you're all enjoying a fabulous day. We have beautiful blue skies and sunshine here today but it still remains very chilly (-21oc with the wind chill, bbbrrrr). Thanks for popping over for a visit today - you are always so very welcome and I thank you for the comments you leave!

Stamp with Fun challenge card - Introducing Posy!

Hello my crafty friends!

Oooh, another busy day with more family illness antics but at least I got a chance to ink up this fabulous new image from the new line Moonlight Whispers from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Posy! Isn't she gorgeous!!! I get such a 'french' feel from her - I think it's her sassy attitude (the 'wink') and her dress - very Parisian chic!!! I'm adding this card into her first challenge over on her blog here.

So I figured it was about time I stopped caressing my gorgeous Daisy Bucket papers and took the plunge and did the big cut! I'm so glad I did as I think they are so perfect for this young miss. I pulled the colours out of the paper for the image and coloured with my copics. The layout is this weeks Stamp with Fun challenge and have to say I love it!

I sewed around each panel, used nesties Labels 8 behind the image, lace, bosskut flourish die and prima flowers with spacers to add all those final touches. I then spritzed the card with Pearl Glimmer Mist and did a light dusting of Glamour Dust. And there it is.

Here's a close-up to show off the glimmer and glamour!
A close-up of Posy!
EDIT
I've added a birthday greeting in French to this card

Thanks for stopping by and paying me a visit! Hopefully I can get some more inky time in tomorrow! Take care and have a great evening/day (whenever you get to read this!!).

Two Challenges - One Card!

Hello there!
I have managed to squeeze in a bit of time to complete this card and tick off the boxes of 2 challenges - yay!!
The sketch is from Stamp with Fun and it was a lot of fun to work with! I used the beautiful papers from my K&Co pack. The image is one I've received in a swap and I honestly can't tell you if it's a Sugar Nellie or WOJ - if someone knows please let me know! I coloured her with my copic markers. I'm also entering this into the Cute Card Thursday challenge this week (colour combo of pink & green).
I used my fab new MS Floral Lace border punch. I added some pearls and a pretty prima flower with spacer. The scroll is a bosskut die and the vintage lace trim is a bargain I picked up at the Dollar Store!
So there you have it! Thanks for coming by for a visit. I always love to read your comments so thank you for taking the time to stop and post one!
I hope you're all enjoying a fabulous evening and will hopefully be back tomorrow with a little something else!

Lilac Tilda .......and some awards!

Good morning friends!

I hope you're all having a wonderful day - we've woken up to blue skies and sunshine today so it should be a fun day for everyone! Today I have a card for you that covers a couple of challenges. The sketch is from Stamp with Fun - I've rotated it so it would work with my image of Tilda. And over on A Spoonfull of Sugar they have the theme 'Floral Fantasy' and I thought this card fit the bill perfectly!
I coloured Tilda using my copics and added 'Fuschia' flower soft to her basket of lilacs. The panel behind her is cuttlebug embossed using the Floral Fantasy folder. I used lace and lilac ric rac down the left side of the card and threaded the circle sentiment through (Just Rite stamp). The flowers are Prima Hydrangeas and I found these cute little lilac roses in my stash. I sprayed Tattered Angels pearl Glimmer Mist over them but it's not easy to see in the picture.
I have received these beautiful awards (sorry I've been slack in posting them). The Circle of Friends award was received from my beautiful blogging friend Linda, thanks Linda, it means a lot! Lovely Day .........in Sarah Kay's Garden!

Hi there!
I loved the sketch over on the Stamp with Fun challenge blog this week so I used this gorgeous Sarah Kay image which I coloured in during my vacation time! This is such a beautiful layout and I will definitely be using it again. I found some tulle in Michaels over the weekend which I just love. They only had ivory so I will try running some ink over it and play around with colours.
The image is coloured with copics and I've used the gorgeous BG Wisteria papers for the background. I sewed around the edges for added detail. Mini flowers from my stash and the MS punch, with some spacers, add the flower detailing. A small pearl in opposite corners finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek today! Your comments are always so much appreciated - I love to read every one of them!
I hope you are all enjoying a fabulous week.

New Stamp with Fun Challenge #1 - All Boy Edwin

Hello!
I'm so happy to be back with a card I made for the new Stamp with Fun challenge blog.  What a great sketch layout to start off with too - and I certainly stamped with fun let me tell you!!  I decided to pull out my poor neglected Edwins!!  This is a new Edwin that I hadn't inked up yet and had fun playing around with 'boy' stuff instead of lots of girlie pinks and bling, lol!!  It was a bit more challenging to find co-ordinating 'boy' paper but I think what I've done here works pretty well.  I found that distressing the papers a bit gave the card a bit more of a 'cool dude' feel - what do you think?
I can't go without a flower on my cards and even though this is a boy card I just twisted up some twine and put that in the middle of my Prima flower to add a bit more of a boy feel.  The arrows are a cuttlebug die cut.  I coloured Edwin with my copics and the sentiment was one of those $1.50 polymer sets from Michaels.
Well, I'm gonna keep on playing 'cos the weather is miserable outside - can you believe we had a snow storm this morning!!  I thought we were all done with that - hopefully it won't stick around! Thanks for paying me another visit - I am quite overwhelmed with all the beautiful comments you leave me!!
Hugs,
Danielle x
