Spring Swing

Hi there!

Can you tell I'm hankering for Spring to arrive!!  Still a ways to go before we see signs of Spring here in Canada but hopefully it won't be too much longer!

I vowed to get into my craft room this weekend so after some baking (yummy banana muffins for the kids lunches) I descended to my craft room and inked up (for the first time may I add) this delightful LOTV image.  I coloured with copics and sponged the background with distress inks to create the sky. The papers are Stella & Rose from MME - aren't they just gorgeous!

Here's a side view of the card.  I'm keeping up with my new year promise to finish off the insides of my cards when making them - woohoo!!

The finished inside panel of the card, with details matching the front.  Hope you like my card today.  I really hope I'll get some blog hopping done in the next couple of days but hubby just flew out to Japan today for a week business trip so I'll be on my own with the boys and working at the same time ...eeek!
