I don't use SU! so to get these exact colours was a bit of a challenge in itself, but I did the best I could with what I have. I coloured the pony with my copic markers. As the image is quite detailed I didn't want to do too much to the card. So I took out my embossing folders and used ones that reflected the patterns on the painted pony. I used the Hearts folder, Swiss Dots and D'vine Swirls. So red adhesive pearls on the swirls and somw green ribbon finish off the look.
It's another simple card but I still hope you like it. As much as I love Nina's images they do take me out of my 'comfort zone', but I like that, I like the challenge of having to use something that I just wouldn't normally choose for myself. I hope that you can find the time and hop on over to TMITA and join in the challenge and check out all the rest of the amazing DT's work. I'd like to give a big welcome to some new members on the DT - Sue Walsh & Patti Gilliam. January's GD is Lisa Foster. You have until next Sunday evening to submit an entry and as always, Nina has a lovely prize up for grabs.
Thanks for taking the time to come and visit me today. As always, you are so much appreciated and I thank you for leaving a comment. Hopefully, with the boys back at school today, I can get some crafting time in! Enjoy a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Danielle x

GORGEOUS, Danielle! Your colors are perfect and matching the embossing textures to the designs on the image is perfect! (I'd actually pulled out the hearts folder too to use with this one but ended up going in a bit of a different way! Great minds think alike!) :) Keep moving outside your comfort zone, you're getting brilliant results! Thanks for the continued inspiration!
