Happy Friday everyone!Today, as it's still cold and snowy, I thought I'd go with a winter card! This is a new Motivet stamp that I won on Claudia's blog candy. It is sooo cute and just too much fun to colour! I used my Prima pencils on this image and I have finally figured out that the quality of paper is everything when it comes to the finished result! I used this on some copic paper and the blending of the pencils was beautiful!
So I've used the sketch off Friday Sketchers today which is hosted by the lovely Claudia. It was a fun one for sure. I've kept this card quite simple and just let the papers and image take full focal point. I've used my sewing machine to add some subtle detail and then sparkly snowflakes are my simple embellishments. I added some stickles as snow at the bottom of the penguins. Some organza and grosgrain ribbon add some detail too.
Well, it's a quick post as I have to take my son to the Children's Hospital for a follow-up Urology appointment. Hopefully the snow will stop as I hate driving in the stuff! Oh WOW Danielle! I love it... With all this cold weather this is the perfect card to go along with all that white stuff outside. I live in Texas, USA and it is about 20 degrees here right now. Very unusual for here. Stay warm...
