Winter Wonderland - Monochromatic Card

Hi there!

So glad to see you here today and that you're able to come by for a visit!  It has been another stressful week with my middle son getting sick with strep throat - not even 2 wks of school and the kids are getting sick!  Oh boy, I hope this isn't a sign of things to come ....

Anyways, here's my DT card for Winter Wonderland where Kate has challenged us all this week to create a Monochromatic card.  I chose blues to work with and this gorgeous Bo Bunny sparkly paper!  I haven't inked up this Tilda in a while and that I'd use her holding a snowflake with this beautiful sentiment from Verve.  I followed the sketch from Cupcake Craft challenges.  She is of course coloured with my trusty copics.

This week the challenge is sponsored by Delicious Doodles so we hope you're able to join in with the fun!  The rest of the DT have offered up some amazing inspiration so be sure to pop on over and take a peek!

Thanks for your visit today - I still haven't managed to get back fully into my blogging routine yet.  Life keeps putting obstacles in my way but I will try and pop around today or in the next few days if possible!  I hope you all enjoy a beautiful Friday and start to the weekend!

Hugs,
Danielle x

Hi Danielle,
This is beautifully done. I love the papers and shades of colour and the doily is perfect as a background.
Cute image and great easel design.

I was just on a road trip with Carolyn and was saying to her, I wonder what the challenge is this week at Winter Wonderland!!!! You see I was thinking I need some new paper today! We had so much fun buying new crafting supplies!
I love this card Danielle. This seems to be my favourite colour this season! I love it Danielle!
P.S. I hope your son is healthy again soon. My daughter came home last night with quite a sore throat too....which is now a full blown cold. Strange this early I would say!

Hi hun
how can I possibly keep up with your amazing comments on my blog when mine appear so faded in comparison) I hope the middle son feels much better soon and that that then clears him for the future. I always love your cards and the different ways you present them. The colours and papers used on this are so pretty and the glitter corners really set the papers off so well. You know I have so many doilies but don't think I actually know how to add them to a card in a way that makes them look as if they are part of it, whereas you have done this so creatively here. (how am I doing) Overall another totally inspiring gorgeous card from a fabulous teamie that I am proud to work with
have a great weekend
Hugs Kate xx

Hoope your son is better soon. Now I'm not a Tilda fan (I know shock, horror) but I can still admire a beautifully put together card. Love the doily and the blues and that sentiment is just great. have a great weekend Danielle. Marianne x
