Hi there!
So I get to share with you the wedding card that I made for our friends whose wedding we attended in Ottawa back in June. One of the many reasons I love making cards is that I am able to custom create my cards to any colour or theme that I wish. For this, I used their wedding colours and added a burlap/lace border which they used as table runners at their reception.
The stamp, which I absolutely adore, is a Tiddly Inks and coloured up with copic markers. I created the sky & grass which reflected their outdoor wedding.
I decided to use an easel design as I wanted to incorporate flowers & a sentiment and this allowed me to do it perfectly! I finished off by adding some twine and sequins - the shabby chic touch complete!
I custom made their envelope too using the SU! Envelope punch board. I made a bellyband using the burlap/lace ribbon. The sentiment is from SU!.
Some challenges I'm entering:-
Papertake Weekly - Product Theme (use lace)
Craft Your Passion Challenges - Always Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart Challenge - Always Anything Goes
Creative Moments Challenge - Anything Goes/Bing (lace, image, sentiment)
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping in and taking a peek today. Always love seeing you here! It has been very hot these last few days so I'm taking advantage and being poolside. Summer days always seem to go by so very quickly so I like to make the most of them whilst we can!
Until next time ... happy crafting!
Hugs,
